Here's your photo tutorial!!!
Well first thingis first. Create a photobucket account and once your account is activated you're good and ready to go

Next, you should click browse from your album so you can select which photos you wish to upload. You can do up to 3 at a time


Then click the upload buttom. I personally prefer to be typing my update while I wait for this step to be done


Woohoo it's done! Now we're almost done!


Now as long as you're in your album click on the last link that is highlighted in this image. This is the one that will make it appear as an image in any forum that uses HTML I believe


Paste that link into any post, type up some crap for the update, click post! Viola! You've just succeeded in posting your first images here on SSCoasters.net!

Wow, thanks for stickying this! I'm thinking about making a complete guide to SSC, haha. It might take a looong time though so, don't expect it like today or tommorow.

You can upload more than 3 photos at a time if you choose "bulk uploader."

When I post them, they are too big. How do I resize them?

Microsoft Photo Editor comes with all XP computers, and is easy. You can also use something like photoshop.

^^on garth's fourth pic, on the top click edit, then on top of the photo click resize and resize it to the message board setting. That's what I do.

Also, in the first pic, under the three browse buttons, click +add more and you can upload like 15 at one time.

There probably is.

For further reference, you can upload to the gallery and post pictures there. Then put a link in your sig like I did to direct people there.

Also, note that this is a dead thread, meaning that there hasn't been a post here in at least a month. Now, I understand that you just wanted to know something, but people get upset when you bump dead threads. Just thought I'd point that out.

He asked a valid question about uploading in a stickied thread, I don't see anything wrong with that.


And, Blast, you can use the SSC uploader like Weasel said, or you can also use ImageShack which is real easy to use.

^? I didn't say anyhting.

But there are also other things then these. Image Shack, or really any photo hoster. Just search on google if you don't want to use Photobucket or SSC uploader.


EDIT: ^Oh, Just saw you suggested ImageShack.

You mean you cannot enter any text in the text box for pictures when entering a new ride? This is a known issue. You using Google Chrome?
