Well I was getting bored this week so I decided it

would try out the blueprints. So I sat there, and ideas where just coming to me like

crazy for a new model. I drew a side, front, and top view of it, and it really helped me

with creating strong supports, making them uniform, and saving pieces. I will scan it,

and put a copy of it on the BluePrints page when I'm done as an example.

So then I started creating some new custom cars (a SS first) and I forgot how

hard it is to make detailed cars. The cars took me 2 days to create and get working,

because these cars needed something more than a regular custom car needs.

They're now done, and work great.

Then tonight I started building

the coaster. I just have to say it is so cool when you put something on paper, and you

begin to see it take shape just like how you planed. Since I had my paper in hand and

saw how everything needed to be built it only took me a couple hours to build, and

complete it. All the supports and track is done, I have even tested it (and works great).

I haven't added the chain yet though, because I know that this will be a big

challenge to get working.

I'm also planning to have brakes, station

and maybe more (not for sure yet). This model will probably be standing for awhile so

I'm going to make it look nice.

I will probably have another

update tonight since I will have some free time.

Wow! Sounds awesome. Do you know how

high it is and what type of coaster? Inverted? Sit down?

This is great, another coaster by SSCoasters. You

seem to do pretty good ones which are very smooth by what i can see (well alot

smoother then mine to say ;))

Anyway i

look forward to seeing these blueprints

Update:

Well I got a little bit done last

night. I mostly tuched up the track and added some supports.
This lift is going to

take some time. It hard to explane but you'll understand when you see the

pics.

Next update: Tomorrow

I scanned my blue prints to let you all see what the

ride looks like. I'm going to put my blueprints up on the site, and show people

how accurate they are and easy the blueprints are. So if anyone else has used the

blueprints on a model, and it is now finished, and you have pics in the gallery tell me,

and I'll put your blueprints up.

This is all you have to do

to make the blueprint work for you. I'm now going to use the blueprint on every

model I make. This model is mint to set up against a wall that’s why on the

side view you only see supports on one side. Oh and the name of the ride is BigE

Is this coaster supposed to be like the S&S

Screaming Squrriel prototype? The blueprints are hard to interpret. I have used graph

paper from my math class as blue print paper for some of my coasters. I see if I can

get them onto my computer sometime.

yes it is like the screamin squirrel except the lift is on

the in side, and at the top you are upside down. It's hard to explain, but I'll

hopefully have some pics soon.

I understand what you are saying. I wonder what

kind of custom cars you are using.

Are you modeling it after this?

"Interactive Rides - (10/27/03) In the midst of installing

the freighting X-Scream on top of the Stratosphere Tower, Interactive Rides unveiled

their latest ride concept... the Frequent Faller. At first glance this ride does appear to

have a similar layout to the new S&S Screaming Squirrel, but that is where the

similarities end. The back to back seated four rider cars will swing back and forth like

a Ferris Wheel while providing several quick drops on the way down. The ride’s

height can be customized to be 100, 150 or 250 foot height (or even larger). They are

currently pricing the 100 foot version at $1.5 million"(Screamscape)

The Frequent Faller is similar to what SS Coasters is

doing but I don't think it is that exactly. But, I am just guessing. Why

don't you credit the people you quote Costa Kid? That was from

Screamscape.com.

So would SSCoasters' model be considered a

sit-down or inverted.
