Wow. This was a great weekend.
We left early Saturday morning: My dad, mom, sister, my friend Joey, and me. We went with another family too. First, we stopped at Denny's in Barstow for some breakfast, and then proceeded to Vegas. But first we stopped off at Buffalo Bill's to ride the Desperado roller coaster! We rode the front seat and I must say it was awesome!!! The drop is amazing, and the speed is remarkable. Airtime and straight parts are plentiful throughout, along with head choppers. Very good!
We were staying in the Circus Circus hotel. A little ways from from the main Strip casinos but we had the Adventuredome (America's largest in door theme park).
After dinner the first night, we had to babysit my sister and her friend. They aren't the best believed children hehe
On Sunday morning, Joey and I made our way to the Adventuredome to buy all day passes ($21.95). Otherwise we'd have to pay $7 for each ride. The Adventuredome consists of some pretty good rides. Canyon Blaster, the real life version of Gump's Python. We rode this one 31 times...yeah it's that interesting/we were that bored. They also have a Chaos ride, drop tower, a Disk-O, and The Inverter, basically a hammerhead. We rode all of the rides multiple times.
After we were done with the Adventuredome, we trekked over to the Sahara to ride "Speed: The ride". It's a launch coaster with a loop into a vertical spike, and then backwards through the course. Pretty good, but for $10 a ride we only went once.
The Stratosphere roller coaster has been removed :/ I don't know why, I'll research it later.
By Monday, it was time to leave. We drove home, but not before stopping at Buffalo Bill's one more time to ride Desperado! We sat in the middle, and we still got major G's.
All in all, a great trip!

No Manhattan Express? It wasn't that bad. I didn't get to go on Canyon Blaster, they were welding. Speed is the ride in Vegas though. I got six rides on it with the wristband. Did you even go up the Stratosphere tower? The rides are still worth riding, especially Insanity. High Roller was removed because it was getting old. Lastly, Desperado was very bumpy, something you didn't mention. I agree with you on the rest of it though.
