guitar hero metallica has pretty much been confirmed, but no screenshots or gameplay so far, except for that one picture on the USA today article and on wikipedia. cant wait for this game, sounding pretty insanely cool so far, especially with double bass pedal!

Ohh gosh, why does everyone one love the stupid bands? Metallica, sure there pretty good power metal but why does everyone like them? IMO, they suck.

I think we should merge this topic with with the new Rock Band Beatles game. I don't know how much information there is on it, but this way everyone can discuss their views on both games.

No, you all fail at music game knowledge. Rock Band Beatles is confirmed. And Metallica is NOT power metal. Metallica was thrash, and is now a sad excuse for progressive metal. If they weren't blatantly failing at being progressive their new CD would be good, but it's just not. HAI, LETS REPEAT DUH DUH DUH 4 MILLION TIMES.

There are a couple links on that page to more information, but little more has been revealed about RB:B than GH:M.

There, rant over. Sorry, but when people try to state things as fact that are definitely wrong i'm not too happy about it.

but, im still looking forward to GH:M more than RB:B because as much as i love the beatles and they are a classic, i just think their songs arent... "meaty" enough to be in a dedicated music game. by meaty i mean they dont have enough... meat, or notes/solos/interesting parts. then again, the vox are going to be fun.

also, has anyone ever noticed that EVERY single screenshot of any GH gameplay looks extremely, and i mean EXTREMELY un-aliased?
