Press Release:

On December 21, 2003, Screamin'

Coaster Productions
, in association with S&S Power , announced a

scrambled message that contained information on their new ride. The public was

startled to hear the unscrambled message. Was it possible to have overbanked turns

and rolls on a common Screamin' Squirrel?

This plan went perfectly

until the geniuses at S&S Power realized one important factor was missing;

speed. The ride would not have enough speed to make it through the course reliably.

This arose a major problem. How could they tell the General Public about their

mistake? How could they tell them, after all the hype, that the record-breaking ride

could not be built? "This was a serious dilemma" said an S&S

worker, "we obviously could not build the new ride, and how could we make a

different ride while staying within the park's budget?". The answer was

simple. Make a short, but sweet ride that combines modern day technology with a new

twist. Literally.

The ride, dubbed "Xanadu", is said to debute

late January 2004. S&S power says the final design will include, in order, a 150ft

(4.5ft) drop, a new element called "The Loopscrew", a Corkscrew, and a

small Helix.

Sounds interesting but why did you have to make a

whole new topic? Also, is a loopscrew like a dive loop? Is it a half loop with a half

corkscrew?
