Hello,

I'm making my first coaster with a construction thread. I don't need to have everything perfect yet, but I hope it will be better then my first one. Pics about the real coaster coming soon, but I already have a layout: Posted Image

Please comment, and if you know a good name, please tell it!

EDIT: CAN A MOD CHANGE THE THREAD NAME TO: "[SS Looper]Thundershell"

THANKS.

The layout is interesting, but can you pull it off? I sure do hope so.
Also, the last inversion should not be a dive-loop or immelmann, especially not before the station. There, should be something small and not crazy.

Thanks for your comment!
I'll change the last inversion to something smaller

I am changing the layout a bit, because I started it at the wrong place to make that layout. It will still have the same elements.

woah.. looks pretty good
the only thing is, make the pullout after the lift a bit bigger, before the turn.

Thanks for commenting!

I wanted it to be so steep, almost vertical

the only thing is, make the pullout after the lift a bit bigger, before the turn.

Ok, I'll fix it

^ yes, but then it 'll be very unrealistic. drops of loopers are never that steep. and the pullin should be some bigger

nah, leave the drop.
it's fine, not every coaster has to be of the utmost realism, if he wants it that steep, let him have it that steep

Ok, then I'll keep it. Going to make the Serpent's Roll (I believe it's called Serpent's Roll, not sure) now :)

Sorry for DP, but here is an UPDATE
I worked a few hours on the Serpent Roll, but it still sucks :(
I'm going to support it much more, but the shaping isn't good either now. Anyway, here are the pics, video coming soon
Don't expect updates until Monday, because it's my birthday next saturday and then we're going to the Efteling (That's a Theme Park in The Netherlands). I also don't have many pieces left however I'm getting 2 more SS within the next 2 weeks.

Yes, I know that, I'm trying to fix it but I'm really bad at crockscrews so also at a Serpent's Roll...

Do it slowly, and post here. That way you'll make it perfect. :D

Efteling, eh? Been there.. It's a cool park, amazing theming..

the half loops look cool, but then when it gets to 180* it seems a little sharp, and the corkscrew is a little bumpy..

Any chance you could take less Fuzzy pictures? :P

No pics coming until monday sorry. I'm building it at my dad's work (8km (idk how many miles that is) from here) and since I don't have enough pieces to build another whole day, I'll have to wait till monday (when I probably have another SS) to continue building. So I can't work on it now.

EDIT: Does anyone know a good name for this coaster?
