Next up was Top Thrill Dragster. I was expecting this to be my last ride of the night, but walk into a surprisingly short 10 minute wait. The ride is still amazing and is just as good at night.
With about 10 minutes until closing, I make a quick walk/jog over to Maverick to finish the night. It was another 45 minute line and I was one of the last ones on. I got the back row, and it was the best ride on Maverick I’ve had, good enough to bump it up past Voyage for my number 2 spot. After grabbing some pics, it was 1AM when I left the park. Time to sleep for Sunday.
On Sunday morning, I had to drive an hour down to Tiffin and back to pick up our friend Marcus (SnooSnoo). Marc and Athena got there around 10:30 and got 2 rides on Millie before we got there at 11 (back entrance for the win!) We all met up at Maverick and jumped into a shot 15 minute line. Just as good as last night.
On our way to Gemini, we got stopped by the train (Joel…) and Marc waved…what an idiot…
We got a pretty good ride in the back on Gemini, with a few good pops of air on the drops. Too bad only one side was running.
Marc and I then whored Woodstock Express so I could get the credit…Marc almost didn’t make it.
Next was Magnum. Marc and I grabbed the middle row of the back car, and it had the airtime of the ejector seat without the pain. Plus it was running trimless too, which made the return run amazing!
Time for Top Thrill Dragster. It was a fairly short wait, about 20 minutes. Marcus and Athena wanted to wait for the back, while Marc and I just grabbed the shortest row. We ended up about 2 station loads in front of them, and what do you know, we break the ride for them! We ended up waiting by taking pictures and looking around the store across the midway. It was about a 15-20 minute downtime, then the other 2 got their ride.
Corkscrew was next, nothing great…same with Power Tower. But Panda Express for lunch was amazing.
Next up was Millennium Force as we were right there. The main queue was about 30 minutes. Marcus wanted to grab the front seat and I decided to join him. Marc and Athena went on and got back in line. They were back in the station by the time we were closing in on the front of our line. Then…break down… It was about 15 minutes again but we were on soon enough. I love seeing that drop from the front, still one of my favorites.
A quick spin on Wildcat, for me again. It was better than I expected it to be and it was fairly smooth.
We walked over to Wicked Twister, and met up with Justin, our friend from CoasterForce. We walked into the station, and Marcus wanted the front while the rest of us took the back. The back twists were more fun, but I enjoyed the front more from my trip earlier in the summer.
MaXair was right there, so of course we did it. It took a lot longer to get to full swing than Delirium.
Next was Disaster Transport, again for my credit. I’ve always heard the lights are often on, but this ride they weren’t. So we rode it again, this time half way through the ride the lights turned on…weird…
We head over to Raptor, and wait about 10 minutes to get to the station. Marc, Marcus, and myself waited an extra 10 minutes for the front, while Justin and Athena got on and off, then grabbed some food. Not a terrible ride, but not as forceful as I remembered it to be.
We walk over to Demon Drop and get what we now know as our last ride on it.
Blue Streak, back row, great ride. I got some pretty good airtime back there.
We started to make our way back to the back of the park. We skipped Iron Dragon because of its line from one train operation, passed Mantis because it was down, and didn’t really want to wait for Millie again. We stopped to get funnel cakes and my gosh was that good.
When we got back there, Skyhawk was down, so we jumped in line for Cedar Creek Mine Ride for the hell of it. It makes Adventure Express feel intense. By the time we got off, Skyhawk was testing then opened a minute later. It was such a fun ride, and definitely something I shouldn’t skip when I go up.
We decided to ride Maverick again and let Justin get his ride on it. It was just about dark and we had a wonderful sunset ride. I got another ride in the back, and this ride made it happen for Maverick. Maverick is now my number 1 coaster over Diamondback. Unfortunately, this was the end of Marc and Athena’s day and we gave each other our good byes until next year.
While in line for Maverick, we noticed Mean Streak running rather quickly. Marcus, Justin, and I head over in hope that it was trimless. And wow was I surprised. It was trimless and such an epic ride. The way it was meant to be. We got another ride with an empty station and it was just as amazing.
We dart over to Dragster to finish our night. We got 2 rides in before they closed the ride and we were on the third last train of the day.
It twas a very epic day and a great weekend!

God, Marc reminds me so much of rollerdude for some reason. That girl looks so familiar. Was she ever in any of rollerdudes trip reports? Anyways Sounds like fun!
I really hope that was sarcasm. Marc is Rollerdude. The girl is Athena, She is at Coasterforce and Marc's GF... I think. Sorry if I'm wrong on that.

Alright, my version is basically the same thing, so I won't ramble on, but I did hit three pretty big milestones on Sunday. First, I got my 50th ride on Top Thrill Dragster. While waiting for Marcus and Kevin for front row, Athena and I snagged a second ride(our fourth), to get 100 rides total. Lastly, our last ride on Maverick was my 50th.
This was a fun trip, and I can't wait til next year. It's going to be a long winter without seeing this group of friends.
Here's my pics:
Enjoy!

A little note about the pics...I was messing with the manual settings, so some of them were dark. The sky wasn't really that blue.
