Another serious topic about a subject you can look at from many perspectives.

Many countries currently have forces in Afghanistan to help fight terrorism and restore order in the country.

1. Is it possible and safe to retrieve our forces in the middle of a conflict?

2. What would this mean for the army? (The army provides work for people, retreating means less jobs)

3.Are we responsible for what is going on in Afghan? Why are we there and is that a good reason?

1. I wish it were possible, but the countries that entered Afghanistan in the first place are doing just what we did to Iraq; we burst into a screwed-up nation and screwed it up even more.

2. Essentially, it could mean more job opportunities, but it can also mean more innocent, unnecessary deaths for no particularly good reason.

3. If they intend to attack us, it might matter a bit, but since when do people have a right to storm into a country that's already screwed up and screw it up even more? Some people apparently think war is the only way to stop these people, when there are numerous other methods that work better.

oh i don't know they flew airplanes into our buildings bombed subways killed thousands of innocent people. i by no means support how long this war is taking, we should have ended this years ago. i want this over. i want there leaders rounded up and brought to justice.

They were. Then Dubya decided to invade Iraq, ignoring Afghanistan, allowing the Taliban to reform.
