I started my new coaster, Ion! It's a giga coaster based after Millennium Force. I am trying to more-or-less recreate the lift supports. I will try to make this the best it can be. It should be about as tall as me when the lift is done, about 5' 1". Here are some pictures of the lift before the crest.

I don't think I will do a cable lift, because from what I have heard they're quite difficult, and I'm not good with those type of things either. Thanks though.

The supports weren't actually too hard to build, I designed everything on graph paper first. Thanks!

Hum, never had the chance to comment on this so...

I love the supports. people in the ppast who tried these supports overhyped them, bending pieces and using everything on the lift. these supports however are simple and they look good. great job!

I finished the lift, chain and motors, crest, and first half of the drop! The drop is about the steepness of MF's, but maybe a bit steeper. I know the crest is on the large side, but I like how it looks. I also added a chain guide for the chain so that it doesn't sag in between support towers.
