Well here is what i have so far. After the launch both cars will do a turn in opposite directions.
I wont use the Jespers launch!Too slow!!!
The cars
[Yellow Mustard, Red Ketchup]
The launch
This wheel has string on it which is wound up around the wheel by a drill
The string is attached to this chain dog,
Which is attached to rubber bands.
When the drill is taken off of the wheel, the tension is released, but i am having trouble with the tension of the rubber bands and making the launch a dueling launch.

But anyway the launch is sort of hard because i tried to connect two black rods with a special connector with some hot glue and the tension ripped the thing apart. It's hard to explain so here's the easiest way: There are three granite rods and the launch needs to be held... here's a picture of it.
Its hard to see but there's an orange connector with supports holding it together and the glue gets ripped off by the force.
So please tell me your launch.

Well mine was similar to yours, except that I pulled it back by hand. The gray rod hooked into the gray connectors, and a motor turned the connectors until they released the rod.
I also used 2 strings instead of one, to stabilize the chain. You're using duct tape though, so I don't think you need to do that.
The last main difference is that your rubber band connects directly to the chain, but mine was underneath the launch. It looks like yours should work just fine though.

that launch looks terriffic. Maybe youcould attach 90's by the middleand then attach them to themselves with a blue rod or something... idk, but it might work
I'll edit this and give you a pic...

thanx for the launch idea!I took your launch and modified it so it could work on my launch and it works great!Thanx for the comments
JPCoaster,
the name was inspired by the dueling coaster and i wanted different colored cars and i had a 2 car train in yellow and red.
I think ill add some theming for the ride but its kind of hard to.The logos pretty sick so i thing you will like that.
Heres a test launch.
Like i said in my last post. The ride will do a turn into a corkscrew like steelspectrums Stealth over the track but it will be perpendicular with the launch.Im just going to work on Ketchup for now and when that part of the ride is done i will do Mustard.
P.S. this will be a tube supported ride

To make it release you would just slide the blue gear of the side of the 2 red.
Supa fresh!
Yeah that big orange block is the "drill"

Wow. Nice launch mechanism idea.I will save the launch for future references when i need a VERY VERY VERY HIGH POWERED LAUNCH.That launch that i created was used for the 3 month ago TTD recreation that i did.The ride was 12 feet tall so i new that i had to make a very high powered launch so i created this simple but powerful launch.TTD failed because of its launch. The launch was so powerful it broke 3 of my cars so bad that i cannot use them and had to trash them.It also gave me complications with how far back the train could go.[the train needed to go to the lights but it wouldn't because it would snap the rubber bands] I know that you are going to say to loosen the tension and i have tried loosening it all the way that it could go but it still wouldn't go to its designated area the starting lights. So,the point of me writing all of this is to explain that i cannot use that launch because it is very very very powerful and i am going to stick with steels automatic launch that gives me very few problems.
Great launch though!I'll use it sometime!

And about the shaking. I would take those off anf replace them with the cube supports. But thats my opinion.
