So I am offering my video editing "skills" to create video's for you! Mainly because I often see awesome coasters and then the video seems a bit disappointing, weird transitions and the music doesn't really fit to it.
Therefore, I can help you create your videos. I can either do parts, or entire videos. I can even make some cool intro's. However I'm not too good at those, but I can always try!
All you have to do is:
1. Record your video, film during the day when the room is at it's brightest, turn on some extra lights to compensate for annoying shadows and annoying backlight.
2.
Gather the raw video files(preferably in .wmv format) and photos(preferably in .jpeg) and select the music of your choice. I can also select the music for you, that I find fitting. Its all your call!
(If you select music, please use Free and legal music downloads - Jamendo this website provides free unlicensed music that does NOT get rejected by Youtube. There is some quality music on it so please take a look.)
3.
If you have all the files you want to be included in the video, make a zip file from it and upload it to a file-sharing website. (www.westransfer.com) Then e-mail (max@dutchdetails.net).
4.
Provide me with further information of things you want to be featured in your video, special shots you want to be included/excluded etc.
I can make as many edits as you want, this means that I will render a video in low quality first and send it back to you. When you approve the video I will render it in a higher quality, (1080p * 1920p can be requested, however this may result in choppy videos, it really strains my CPU) Preferably 720p. All videos will be widescreen unless otherwise requested. If you video is not recorded in widescreen this will result in black bars on the top and bottom of your video. Personally I don't mind this, you still get the filmy look. (Remember that I will never render in a higher quality than your video source. Rendering in a higher quality does not improve the video quality itself.)
Another note: I am trying to get more people to ask me to do film edits. This means that I really want to put my name in the credits. However if you insist not to have my name mentioned in the credits we can always discuss this.

This video I made for school on our excursion to Germany (Köln), I tried to make this one as professional as I could yet with a slight sense of humour. The goal was to create a short video (Max 5 minutes) that showed the city's cultural aspects as wel as the people from school. The video also had to feature a slight sense of humour and be appealing to all ages, mainly students, teachers and parents. The film gave my a 9/10 for my excursion report, this made me score the highest mark from my grade.

Adobe Premier Pro CS5 (not user-friendly imho) (Video editing)
Adobe After Effects CS5 (idem) (Animations + effects)
Sony Vegas Pro, Build 8c (Best video editor ever!) (Effects, Animations, Editing)
Audacity, for sound editing.
First I try to do stuff in the Adobe programs, mainly because I need to learn how to work with them. They are just really complicated. Too bad school actually wants me to use Adobe programs...
If I can't get it to work in Adobe, I'll work on it in Sony Vegas, and usually I get the same results.
But please don't ask me to design a logo I really can't.

This is actually a very good idea.
I agree with stig, it will help alot of users who make really good coasters but rubbish videos. Great idea Max!

Do you also make movies for No Limits? (I have one coaster that needs a movie)
Yes, I will. Just provide me with enough source material to make a video. It is really hard to make a complete video if you only provide me with about 20 different clips. I need a lot of different camera angles to keep the video interesting. Also, when recording videos start filming way before the train is even in the shot. I need this extra time before and after the video to make a decent edits and transitions.
I usually try to deliver a video within a week. If you want I can make a low resolution render from the video and sent it to you so you can tell me what you like or don't like. Then I can change the video accordingly.

The thing is the video files are MOD, and the lighting isn't very good becasue I built my coaster in the attic and it only has one light (and I couldn't get any extras). The video quality is better than my other videos because I used a 10-12 megapixal camcorder this time.
So are you able to edit my video?

Editing a video takes more time that making a signature and I rely on other people for the material to work with. I will keep you updated with the status when I am working on it.

I prefer Weshare because I don't like all the other sharing websites because of the major amount of malicious adds.
EDIT. I noticed I've been consequently typing weshare instead of wetransfer!
I won't take any new requests now, I need to focus on school till the end of March. PM me if you really need something done.
