I decidded to start a little early for my Christmas Coaster. Once the Christmas carols start playing on the radio, I realize it's high time to start a coaster. It will be themed around my small little fake Christmas tree. It won't be long, which is the norm for me, but it will be compact, as usual. People might remember my Matterhorn, which was a horrible fail for me. I can guaruntee this will be different. A year experience and I am back, so enough chatter here is what I have so far.




Here is my planned layout, the tree will go in front of the hill, and behind the little turn thingy in light blue

The tunnels and station will be covered with wrapping paper and snow will line the whole thing... cute huh?

Btw, I'm a Dutchie who is trying to speak a little english while his last grade for English at school was an F.
So yes, I forget how to spell some words sometimes:)

^ hahaha, Im english and I get C's in English, hahahaha

I put very few crossties on my lifts because I don't like to waste them on there. I haven't given it much thought if this should be max X-tied, but it might be.... haha

Anyway, a couple of minutes and I got the lift, part of the drop, and some of my theming!!!

Yes, it spins, hahahaha


I want this to be a little closer to the structure, but I'll do something to fix it.

Your coaster looks awesome man. I joined this site just to comment on it cause you were asking people to haha. But I just ordered my first SS set and I am working on getting another. The first one has not come in yet but when it does i will complete the design. After I get the second coaster I would like to make a small custom coaster but I am trying to do all the reading I can on the internet but cannot find any basic information on how to start.

^ well sorry, but I'm bored and I've been building all day. I also think this is an amazing coaster and want you guys to agree!

BTW, the pictures from the last two updates have been taken by Photobucket's new webcam uploader. Try it out! it's cool!

The waterbottle is in the hat! Next to the white bunny;)

But for the coaster: You should be able to make a bigger hill. Atleast a granites bigger or something. Right now you are going from a 6granites tall lifthill to a 3 granites tall hill. That could be improved;)
But that drop is beautifel! (How do you spell that?!)

I will be making the hill bigger tonight. I have a hockey game that I have to leave for at somewhere around 6:00 and won't get back untill at least 9:30... I'll try to updat tonight but no promises...

ANYWHO!!!! Im So sorry I haven't updated in a while but with my grades and social status plummeting i haven't gotten on in a while... you can also blame the snow

but the good news is that I have an update!!!
So the whole twisty helix thing didn't work so I made this thingy... take a look

Oh ya!! And I just learned how to solve a rubik's cube.... I'm pretty horrible at it but my personal best is 0:54.23!!!!!
