The real boomerangs use a car that is attached to a cable to hook on to the train and pull it up. Create something like that.

What you do is: Take a gray connector. Cut across the top of the hole part (I used tile clippers). Then put it onto a chain link (you may have to bend it a little). Lastly, use a rubber band or some tape to hold it in place. It should be able to fold down toward the chain, but still pop back up to catch onto the underside of the train.
Here is the finished product:

got it to work thanks to steelspectrum. look in the tutorials section he posted some pics of what to do on my post. IT WORKS GREAT!!!
Steel i watched your update 1 video of invertigo and i love the idea. I recreated it but the opposite way since mine is a sitdown while your is a inverted one. im having trouble with it turning on when the car hit the little clip you told me to make. Also when the clip reaches the top to reverse the motor it stops before it starts to reverse. I does turn off by it self?? Plz help steel? thanks

Perhaps a miny tutorial if you hhave time but if not don't worry ill figure sometin out eventually
AWWW why are boomerang coasters so hard?? when it will be done it will be really nice. Very similar to Jpcoaster's boomerang which is great and mine is going to be automatic like invertigo from steel spectrum. I am going to be using the same mechanisms steelspectrum used on his ride invertigo as you could see on youtube invertigo update 1. My Boomerang---++=====>>>COMING SOON. stay tuned.
