I bought #1 bag of crossties, #2, and #3 bag of purple and gray connecters, #2 bag of granites(yellow, dark gray, gold and orange), #2 bag of red and metallic green, the bag of flexies, and the bag of 7 1/2in. gray, orange, and black rods.

No, we did. We split all the costs so we could place higher bids. In the end we decided half the stuff we wanted proved to be useless for us. We just dropped the bids on those. But if we really wanted we could've spent loads of money on it outbidding everyone. But a bag of X-ties is useless when you don't have the flexi's to put them on or don't have enough tubing. Which is the case for me. But I tend to build smaller coasters with more detail in the supports etc.

It is very hard to find loose(sorted) pieces here. Usually you have to buy a set and they go for fairly high prices. The Dutch are fairly greedy and they dare asking you the same 80 Euros they paid for it in the store 7 years ago. Even when there is a train missing! You have to be careful here when you buy K'nex and usually we have to convince people to lower the price by an insane amount.
