If you've seen whats on TV, it's really sad. There are protesters wanting there president out. But now there are people that want him to stay, there's a huge fight thats going to happen if they meet. They have razors, knives, guns, and there's two sides with about 200 feet inbetween them. Although there were about 30-40 feet inbetween them a minute ago.

What do you think about this?

Fighting is the worst solution, but it might be the only one to solve the situation there.

IDK, I'll just wait.

From what I understand, it was fairly peaceful up until yesterday, or at least until the pro-regime side took to the streets as well.

On a different note, America needs to put up or shut up.

^ Exactly what I heard. Everyone in the square was checked for weapons. But the pro-supporters have all these weapons. It's just sick (as in sad). From what I can see is all the pro-supporters what to do it attack and kill the others. It's just sick.

I honestly just can't picture anything in my mind but ancient Egypt when talking about Egypt. I think of millions of slaves moving giant hunks of stone to create pyramids.

Either way, just thinking about it is incredible. It's such a huge current event that will be remembered for years.

From what I've heard, all parties in the protests have been using Facebook and Twitter to organize, even with the internet being shut down.

Looking back at this, I think it was one of the greatest thinks they could've done.
We can all witness that it's being spread over the world.
It won't take long before the whole world is democratic.
First Egypt, after that Tunisia, now Libya...
Lets hope many will follow.

Go Egypt, Go!

Mubarak ruled Egypt for about almost 30 years I think.

Nothing bad happened since the time he was elected president.

And now there are wars, what could be the best solution?

Hard to think because every solution has conflicting sides.

I always feel saddened when I watch these things. It may seem stereotypical, but the BBC only ever show the violence of the protests, and I have it implanted in my mind now that people in countries such as Egypt don't know how to protest peacefully. It saddens me when I hear that every single thing has to be taken down to violent protest these days:

1) The protests in Egypt
2) The protests in Libya over the previous election
3) The student protests in the UK over tuition fees
4) The conflict between the Jews and the Palestinians over the ownership of Jerusalem and the surrounding area.

This world is just crazy...

I think that the protesters are provoking the police, but the police shouldn't be killing peaceful protesters.

Ya Egypt is just going to become another Iran. Where some crazy muslim extremists will take over powered and try to bring about the 12th imam by bathing the world in blood....... I dont think Egypt will have a democracy. Sharia law is what I predict and a second iran is what I predict.

btw i'm not racist, so dont say that about this comment

And this is also causing all of the far left liberals and commies to start protesting in the U.S. because, as in every other depression, they all think that capitalism has failed us, and we need things to be equal and controled by the government. And that is why I hate the far left.
