3ds problem please help

Okay guys i have a problem when i import a 3ds file made in google sketch up into no limits the textures arent right anymore. Is there a program for this look in atachments for a comparsion.

I've heard of reports of this, it's supposedly to do with Google Sketchup's way of encoding textures, but every time I've seen it, the thread has died, so I don't know if there'es any cures.. Sorry.

Try Blender or some other program.

^ problem is, Blender is very complex in comparison with Sketchup..

so i found something about it on the internet here is the information does anybody know's something about this. i finnally figured out my texture problem it was because of the blue faces on google sketchup that would not show up onnolimits. Where can i change this?

Your textures are right the shading is just wrong. You need to use anim8tor (a freeware program) and correct the textures. Can't find the link just now but there was a page full of info on that matter. Also, make sure your faces are facing the proper way (they need to be grey, NOT purple-ish.)

I have anim8tor look in the first screenshot and you will see objext space. Can you explain to me how i need 2 do that

There is a button somewhere in Anim8tor for textures. Then you need to press on a circular button. I can't recall exactly what it looks like.

You have to make it with Sketchup Pro and export it as a .3ds file into C:\Program Files\NoLimits Coasters v1.7\objects.
