Went yesterday, had a blast. Rode Bizzaro twice, once in the front seat, Batman twice, once in the front seat, Thunderbolt twice, once in front, once in back, Mind Eraser front seat and Flashback plus a bunch of other rides.

Best part of the trip was my daughter decided she wanted to ride roller coasters all of a sudden. (she's 12) Last year she wouldn't even ride the kiddie coaster!. But this year we went with another family and the kids her age in the other family were all into coasters, I think that made a huge difference. Plus we got Flash passes and not having to stand in line makes riding them much better, can do other stuff while you wait. (only got regular Flash, waits averaged about 30 minutes). I suggested she ride Catwoman first because it is a kiddie coaster but none of the other kids wanted to go on that and when we first got there it was only a 5 minute wait for Batman so that was her first coaster ever. Then we went straight to Bizarro. I was really surprised that when the other kids wanted to get in the front seat line she was all for it.

She looked pretty tense during the ride but was all smiles after it. Then we rode Flashback. First time on it for me, didn't care for it much. Not a big fan of the backwards trip.

Riding Thunderbolt is always a treat, I love old woodies. I was really happy riding it to see that Whirlwind was a fairly accurate remake of the layout, in spite of the size restrictions which forced a little liberty in the interpretation.

Skipped Cyclone this year, none of the kids liked woodies and that is not a great one, very rough ride.

After lunch most of the kids wanted to go to the water park, so the oldest of the other family and I took both flash passes and road Bizzarro, Mind Eraser, Batman and Thunderbolt one more time each. Great having 2 passes, we could be in 2 lines at once and went straight from ride to ride.

Now that Jenna likes coasters might plan a trip to a bigger park with other coasters next summer.

Comet Recreation still underway.

Sorry no pics, had a camera with us but never took it out. Having too much fun!

Trying to talk the family into a trip out to Lake Compounce before the end of the season. I've been wanting to ride Boulderdash for a long time.

Comet Recreation still underway.

Great that you got to go to an amusement park this year. I was not so fortunate this year. The company I worked at for 20 years went belly up 2 years ago. & I finally got a job but no vacation time ...... YET. Finally will have some in October. So I'm doing Vegas this year. I'll have to ride the coaster around New York New York Casino
