As it turns out that I don't have enough speed, I can always launch it faster.awesome man ! but i think you should tale out the ss sticker...

I hope it's fast enough.I wonder if you will get the train over the top hat with the speed you have.

I've seriously considered your suggest, but I don't think it fits in the layout.Suggestion: Instead of a Tophat you could make a Figure 8 element like on cheetah hunt.
I wanted to make it purple, but I'll keep it yellow, special for you.Nice automation! I also really like the yellow track on the launch.
Thank you! We'll see later if it needs more POWA.NEEDS MOAH POWA!!!!
Seriously though, it could be faster, but the automation is incredible.
If you say that automation is nice, I know that it is good.Nice automation!! Although I don't think the launch is very fast yet.

The automation is just amazing, but I would suggest that you extend your launch x1.5 then what you have now (approx 3 long grey rods). You definately need more speed from your launch and extending it is the only practical way to do it.
v If you notice in the video, the launch doesn't reach it's full speed until after the car is off the launch, so if he extends it, it will let the car reach the full speed.

The drill just isn't turning very fast.
Love what you got there mate!
Not gonna tell you that you need more speed, that has been said many times too much now.
Can't wait to see that tophat!

I was going to gear up the launch. But if you think that lengthen the launch works better, I will do that.Looks like another amazing coaster in the works for felesgustos!!

No more waiting!^ I don't think the length of the launch is the problem.

I've almost finished the tophat, I'm not sure the shaping is right.
As expected, the train doesn't make the tophat . First I'll try to make the launch longer. If that doesn't work, I'll gear the launch up.

I think it should be more like this:
In reality, even more hearthlining would've been necessary, but considering the scale of this, I think too much hearthlining would make it look ugly.

iSpeed would be a good place to start.

Suck nailed it. re do the entire thing. It is full of straight spots and bumps. Look at pics of real launched coasters with top hats to get some ideas.

Not really what I'm trying to say.
I think by adjusting it a bit you can make it look pretty perfect.
Remember, making a tophat your own way isn't a bad thing.
But it still has to be realistic, so I think giving it a bit more hearthlining would give your knex-figures a bit less of a headache.

I have to agree with Bart on this about the banking. It does seem a bit unnatural, but it does remind me of how the top hat on Storm Runner is. I think if you start the banking transition where the bottom of Bart's circle (^^^) is for both sides, then it will look a lot more natural and I think it would look a lot better.
I do hope you get your launch to work!

1. I tried to shape the tophat better, but I don't know if it looks right now.
2. I've lengthen the launch and now it makes it over the tophat.
3. I've made a loop. But as with the first point, I do not know if the shaping is right.
Here are a few photos to look at the shaping, and a movie to prove that the train makes it.
