Use this tutorial but use 4 x-ties per flexi instead of 6. Don't use less than that.

Does it matter if you put the chain links in the same direction? or no.
No, it can go either way.

I HIGHLY suggest you to have the chain links' openings facing UPWARDS on the lift (which means they are facing downwards when they return underneath the track).Does it matter if you put the chain links in the same direction? or no.
