yeah... the title says it all how do you do it?, i'm just really curious because it seems like something i might want to do... If anyone can tell me please reply below and i will be very grateful if it can work out for me

Actually, an 'movie' avatar is a bunch of pictures. Therefore, it is not an .avi, .mp4 or any other video file. It is most likely an .gif, and you have to make each picture apart. Easiest way to do this is create all pictures, and put them aside in one big cartoon-alike thing. Make sure that each sub-picture has the same size!

Next up, with Game Maker you are able to select all files and put them in the order you want - and save it as .gif.

Game Maker? That seems like a pretty weird way to make an animated gif.

There are many animated .gif creators online. Just google "animated .gif online" and you will get a bunch of cool websites. Gifninja.com works pretty good. This one can turn video's as well as pictures into an animated .gif.

what would you like in your animated avatar?
i'd like to make it in photoshop for you if you want.
or i can teach you if you install GIMP
(and foxtab video converter if you want to make your animation from an existing video.)

i am at school right now, so that website (picasion) is blocked and the thing to get around the blocker doesnt work for that website either so I'm just goona have to try it at my dad's house, and the school computers already have GIMP @wardcoastez but I've never heard of foxtab video converter...

foxtab video converter is a program that converts files to other file types.
for example: you have a .avi video, and you want to make an animation like this: then you can convert the .avi file to a .gif file to make an animation.

but isn't it easier to let me make your avatar? just send me a pm with the ideas for the animation
