Practically every coaster ive designed has had a lift problem, If I can get through this, it would help a whole lot! The chain works fine alone, but when I place a coaster cart on it, the gears jerk, get stuck, and it either takes a long time to get to the top, or just brake the chain alltogether. I have purple tubing down the middle, and I do not think it is getting stuck on anything as I have checked for that multiple times... here is a picture of how my gears are placed... and a video of the problem...

Try adding a second motor to it. It sounds like it's overworking, and the gears will slip.

A second motor usually does the trick, but I would like to know if it is possible to accomplish the lift using only one motor. Like, is there a certain place I should put
the motor in order for it to work better...or something like that.

I had the same problem at first. All it took for me was to support the gear box more. If it was supported everywhere it worked alot better.

The only way I know is either add another motor, or gear the motor down. It might go slow, but it should easily make it.

I will try to support the motor more then it is, I found that when I moved the motor way upward (not down) so the motor was practically right under the coaster track, It worked alot better. Will continue experimenting, thanks for the help guys ;)
