Well on Jaws i used tubes and they weren't extremely supportive. Ive been expirementing and looking at Rollerkids, ickus, and Gumps supprots closely.[I did alot more thats just the small list.]
Heres what I finally came up with.

That sure works, but the thing is that it is hardly customizable. I will make a full-fledged tube support workshop/tutorial this summer. Look forward to that. ;)

Hmm... looks like those close up pictures of my tubes helped out! So there not as pointless as I thought after all...

Basically, what I do is I put four long grey rod around a blue-moon connector and hen, half-way up, I put another wand fill up the rest of the three empty slots. Using this, I can put rods in the empty slot in the bottom to connect it to the base. Now, connecting a tube to a tube is always a different experience. You just have to play around with them.
