Well, as I was making my coaster, when I snapped a piece in, the knex made a static sound. It sounded like a really bad radio. Am I hearing things? I'll try to get it on camera if it happens again.

Also and I wonder what would happen if you took a piece, made a mold, melted a knex piece of a different color, filled in the mold with the melted knex, and then let it dry.
Wouldn't it be a way to have red crossties or grey flexi rods or neon-green blue rods?
