1.you need 7 rods and 2 grey connectors
2.Start by putting connectors on one rod
3.then keep adding rods into empty conector slots
4.Finally, add the rods into every connector slot and you are done. Hope i helped.
BE AWARE! You must make a base for the supports, if you dont then they will be useful. Again. you need a base for the supports.

Step 1 : Lets use this base as an example.
Then you make this.
Step 2 : Put 2 purple connectors on 2 rods, leave space between each.
Then attach the support to the base.
Step 3 : Make this, the rest will be shown in the video.
Here is the video. The video shows the mechanism of the footer.

this is a tutorial for basic tube supports. not advanced. i know they are not layered, i just wanted to show how to make basic tube supports. thanks anywaysThe biggest flaw with this is that they are not layered, so this is not the right way to make tube supports.
i make tubes more advanced than this but i just wanted to show how to make basic supports for beginners.I was thinking the same thing, Max. The rods need to be staggered so the tubes are more structural.
Thanks, I actually just made examples of footers. its a cool footer that can be adjusted in lots of angles. check it out.Nice tutorial Mike. I think it's a nice basic guide for newer members to learn about tubes. It might be an idea to expand a bit, maybe some footer examples.
