I'm actually not upset with those prices! $120 isn't bad! Before you guys complain, the SS was $100 I believe, and that was around 1000 pieces, 800 pieces for $120 isn't bad, with the economy the way it is, K'NEX are just more expensive to make now. Although we might not buy a whole lot of them, other people will, $120 isn't bad at all, I'm sure we'll see them start popping up on craigslist/ebay soon after, and then we'll get new pieces to build with. It also might lower the price of the SS! Classic K'NEX aren't VV, VV are small, and cheaper to make. That's why this is more expensive than VV.
Yay! I'm really happy that K'NEX is bringing these back!

If a coaster that expensive (SOS) had a wildly successful launch, these sets most likely will too:) I'm glad what direction these sets are going in. Also, we might see spare x-ties, and tubing on the spare parts shop again! In response to last year’s wildly successful launch of the Son of Serpent Coaster™ building set, the first coaster in 10 years to be made up entirely of all classic rods and connectors, K’NEX is thrilled to expand its roller coaster line with 2 new exciting, all-classic coasters.
