RULES

1. Contestants have exactly 9 days to finish the coaster.
2. I will be on of the 3 judges. So if there are 4 members who will like to judge, please write it in the thread.
3. There is no size, length, or width limit.
4. If all judges decide on a different ride as a winner, the judges must decide on one of the coasters they picked as a winner.
5. Contest starts February 21st and ends March 13th, you may start building before the 19th but all rides must be submitted by the 28th at 11:59 PM
6. The coaster can be a launched coaster and have a lift.
7. When you finish the lift or launch, please make a thread for it so I can measure if you built the ride in 9 days.
Those are the rules for the contest.

If you would like to enter, start a thread for your ride any day before or after the 9th, when finished, enter the ride into the Rides Database and you are officially a contestant in the 9 day Coaster Buildoff.

Cool that this thing is going on again.
I disagree with your rating system though; the 9 day coaster buildoff is not about creativity: It's about building a quality coaster in a short amount of time.
I'd stick with the rules that we used last year.
Same with the deadline.

We'd probably need more time, like me, I have a coaster up so I won't be able to participate. Unless I build a small coaster.

The staff agreed with these rules, so these will be the rules for the contest, I really want people to enter, if nobody enters, I might push back the date, I also need judges so if you would like to judge, just say it.

EDIT: I will make a new starting date for the contest, it will be from February 19th to February 28th.

Not in 'dis house! haha Mike & I are brothas from anotha motha. Seriously though, Mike, you could add some spots. Considering the system you're using, more judges would never hurt.

Not a fan of the timing this year... if I could start on the 21st and build 21st-22nd-...-28th-29th I'd more than likely be in, since I'm away for a long weekend.

EDIT: I already have 4 judges plus me so no more judges allowed, and even though the contest starts February 21st, you may start building before that.

Ok, good to hear! REMEMBER CG987: After you make the lift or launch, you must post a thread, if not, you will be disqualified. I have to measure that you built it in 9 days.
