Hello all!

On the 7th of May 2013 me and my family went to Toverland. When we arrived there we immediately headed towards Troy, which I rode both in the front and the back. Troy was an amazing GCI woodie with a long and fun lay-out.

After we did Troy, we went to the watercoaster. Fortunately it didn't make me soaked, I only got a little wet.
Posted Image
In the early morning the Boosterbikes were not operating, but later in the morning the coaster worked! I really liked the concept of this coaster.

When we left the Boosterbikes we entered the Magical Valley. This area features the new Djengu River and d'wervelwind, which is the newest coaster in Toverland. This Mack Spinning resulted in both pleasant and unpleasant movements throughout the ride, but the coaster never gets boring.

d'wervelwind had a really nice twisty lay-out.

After d'wervelwind we went on Djengu River. This rapid is the newest ride in Toverland. I had a big splash making me wet and this rapid has some fun elements in it.

We checked out some of the smaller rides which were inside. Then we went outside for another ride on Troy and d'wervelwind.

I was amazed by the Magical Valley. The area looked so awesome with all the rocks, plants and waterfalls!

D'Wervelwind has a really cool color scheme, it's like a mini Cheetah Hunt. Looks like you had a fun time, thanks for the report!

That's a nice haircut. I wonder where you got that style from... ;)

Was Troy the best GCI coaster you've ridden? Did D'Wervelwind get you sick at all or were you to focused on the layout of the coaster to not really be affected by the spinning motion? If I were to ride that, that's what I would be most concerned about!

Troy looks amazing in that open field. I just love how european parks don't have fences lining every single path. It's as if the park owners trust that visitors aren't going to get stuck in mud, drown in the water fountain, or go climbing on Boosterbike.

Drown in a fountain? Most of the time they are only 10 cm deep :-S
Or climbing a rollercoaster ? Do americans really do that?

Today I also went to Toverland. Just a little correction: Acording to the signs it's Dwervelwind and not D'Wervelwind.
Here is a little list with grades from Dwervelwind of every thing I could think: (1-10)

Theming - 8, I really enjoyed the theming and music, When the ride operators press the big green buton and the carts start to ride you can hear a Woosh sound that fits nice in the theme of the attraction (For non dutch people: Dwervelwind without the D gives Wervelwind what means in english: whirlwind. Toverland called the strange creatures Dwervels. So they added a D to make it sound better:
wervelwind +
Dwervel =
Dwervelwind

tension - 7, I know this ride is intended for younger and older people so this might be higher with a younger age. The nice thing about this rollercoaster is that it almost never makes the same spins. Also the Banked turns makes this ride really fun and exciting. But it didn't made me feel sick.

comfort - 7.6, The seats and the safety bracket (Don't really know the excact english word) are really comfortable, Altough one of the turns are a little bit to sharply and you will get a little bit pain in your stomach. (At this part: Onride (POV) video van d'wervelwind Attractiepark Toverland - YouTube )

maintenance - X, Don't really want to rate this now, Just because the rollercoaster is very young so it's hard to rate it. But at the whole day I only saw it to stop once. (I came beyond this rollercoaster every 10 minutes or something.)

If you want to know something else about this rollercoaster Ask Me! and if you want more rated tell me ;-)

The name originally was d'wervelwind (not even capitals). Dwervelwind - Toverland (Sevenum, Limburg, Netherlands) They changed it because the d apostrophe was silly, the d was however always intended. Second, /care.

Really? Rating downtime on a coaster? Silly if you ask me. If you go to a themepark to see roller-coasters not operating then you certainly have a weird hobby.

Lol I wasn't looking for downtime but I had a back entrance pass so I didn't had any queu, So every 5-10 minutes I rode Dwervelwind again. Probably rode it 7 times on that day :-p

Also there wasn't even a CD with music of the new area :-( It cames at the end of May. But I found some demos on the site who made the music in the park:
http://imascore.com/...oundtrack-demos
Probably at the end of may you can found full versions on youtube.
