Hello all, just wanted to bring to light this wonderful set! A review of sorts! It's kinda lost in the shuffle of SoS, so is the reason I bring this up. If anyone is curious I have a modification that you can do to add the SS style bunny hill back in. However most of you probably wouldn't need it!

At any rate, to start off, one thing about the set is that I was hoping it would have at least come with more K'nex men pegs. I know that they are just small to big adapter pieces but I can't find them for sale on the K'nex website. I would love to fill my coaster cars! Other than that it's a great set. The only real complaint is that the way the banked curve at the end is designed, it tends to eventually slow to a crawl in that turn, thus not making the full circuit after a few times around. That is after building it to exact specifications. So, I went ahead and did the bunny hill mod, and now it cruises right around every time no problem!

So after than small fix, the coaster is running great! Too bad it's only two cars, but I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too. At that rate it's why I wish they would have provided the proper amount of pegs for the coaster cars to at least fill them with the figures. Other than these couple issues, this set is a winner, and it's great to have the classic style parts back! I wasn't nearly as into those new track types as much as I was the SS style!

So, with that said, if I rate this kit from 1 to 10, it gets a 7.75 out of ten only due to the lack of the extra car and the lack of extra pegs for the figures. Otherwise it is a fantastic set and I recommend picking one up cause my local TRU has already sold completely out of it! I can post pics later of the bunny hill mod if anyone is interested, thanks!

I got a question, is the track connectors neon green or neon yellow? I need more. It seems odd that the set has them spaced out unevenly, so I want to add more to make them all evenly spaced.

Can someone answer the above question, plz? I see listing for sale as both yellow and green.

I bought more packs of black for another coaster.

if your talking about the screaming serpant (the one with a turning drop, loop, hill, turn, lift) those cross ties are green the rippin rocket has the yellow ones

The flexi's are in white. The cross-ties are bright neon green. It's hard to tell them apart from the yellow ones on the Rippin' Rocket.

With ^that said, colors are also not guaranteed and can vary. So it is possible that both those listings you see are correct.

I'm only talkin' about the Thunderbolt Strike and the connectors that holds the bottom and top tubes/tracks. Yellow, it is, thanks, will order more yellow connectors to fill in empty spaces since K'Nex are too comservative with pieces.
