Here's my next project, a RMC Hybrid. I've finished the first turn around, next will be a double up into a outside banked ejector airtime hill.

Higher effort post this time around, I have more time to write something up.

 

I've finished the turn around, I'm quite pleased with how it came out. I feel a slight sense of aggressiveness through that drop and I feel like the back cars would get a little whipped over the top, creating some great ejector airtime.

Something I spent a bit of time on at the beginning of this project was coming up with a support style that was distinctly RMC. I settled on this double gray half circle style that sort of looks like how RMC attaches their track to wooden structures. I think it serves a good analog for that style and is something the few RMC's built out of knex haven't quite captured.

Here's the zero g stall overview and where I'm planning on taking it after the stall. I think I captured the RMC arch that seem to do pretty commonly when they do a layout like this.

Here's the run up to the stall, probably the one thing I don't think is *quite* right, but its smooth enough and still has some good angles.

*The forum posts an error when I try to embed an image. I don't have any references on how to embed an image other than [*IMG]link.jpg[*/IMG] (minus the *) so if someone could help me on that I will embed these images.
