here, if u have any rumors about upcoming coasters or things to do with parks share
them.
I only have one rumor, the next coaster for SFGAm might be a
S&S air launched or a Intamin Rocket coaster.

It doesn't have enough room unless it takes down another coaster. N-E-Way its
not a rumor but i hope SFMM gets a few flat rides. Or a S&S power tower.

Corpration's pride and joy, they will do anything to get a new coaster, especially
a record breaker. Any thing to beat out CP. And SFMM needs Flats <span

coaster for two years as long as it got some decent flat rides, cleaned it up, and took
better care of the coasters they have now. But seeing how they are SF, they are most
likely go for some sort of first and it will be poorly themed and after 4 years will be run
down.

rememeber its Sfmm, the Six Flags Corpration's pride and joy, they will do
anything to get a new coaster, especially a record breaker. Any thing to beat out CP.
And SFMM needs Flats BADLY
Do
you remeber my rant in that CP vs. SFMM topic?
Plus
SFMM is not running outta space, neither is CP.....
And please keep in mind
that these "rumors" are ridiculouss....
SFGADV getting a woodie 2005, SFWOA
getting a hyper sometime, BGW getting the worlds largest floorless.
SFGAdv could get a woodie,
SFWOA is not getting a hyper, there is something like a 200ft ceiling for them, and
huge coasters like that are not worth investing both time, money and space. BGW will
not get the "worlds largest floorless" BGW is all about a nice looking park,
and having a huge loud floorless would look ugly and kill the whole atmosphere.....I
could see them getting a Flyer though..... Imangine that, a flyer going through the
forest like BBW......*drools*.....
I only
have one rumor, the next coaster for SFGAm might be a S&S air launched or a
Intamin Rocket coaster.
SFGam
could get an S&S Power, but they deffinatly won't be getting a Rocket
Coaster. After seeing how X actually hurt SFMM, SF is investing in reliable
coasters, and seeing how Xcelerator is still having problems and TTD hurting CP
matenice wise. SF will be smart and get a more reliable ride for their
parks....
SFMM is getting a coaster this next season
(2004) wat it is i dont know, brobably a record breaker or soemthing.
They probably will get a
coaster, but not a record breaker or anything like that, it just costs too much, I can see
them putting in a family ride or something small like that.....Something to bump up the
coaster count, but not to compete with CP!
I think this
thread should be changed to Ride Wishes, not rumors....
Rumors start with
a kernal of truth, and from what people have posted, they are just fictionous things
coming outta their head......
I do seriously hope that SFSTL gets some
cash to repaint and retrack some parts of the Screamin' Eagle. That ride could
easily be a top-ten coaster with a new coat of paint and some smoothing....
Plus SFSTL needs a lotta Febreeze to make the place smell a little better...

maybe next year. Gadv is going into there 30th season so they defently need to
celebrate it with something big. The 3 biggest rumors out there are a freefall tower, a
woodie, or a B&M vertical drop coaster. I dought the vertical drop coaster
because sf gadv cant build tunnels so the ride cant be like oblivion. The woodie is
very possible since its been several years since theve got a wooden and theres a very
nice space behind medusa and the log form for a nice wooden to go. A freefal tower
is possible because its something big for the 30th aniversery and its not a coaster for
the second year in a row. The only problem is due to the airbase by gadv they have a
stict height restriction and cant go to the height of drop zone but S&S toweres are
possible. My personal opinion is a stand up coaster (riddlers revenge) in the area of
movie town behind stuntmans freefall and next to the water tower. This would be
awsome and likley because is been a few years since a gothom coaster and gadvs
past 3 coasters have been by B&M. Even though stand ups have been gone for
a while i think there due for a come back. Hey if Hershey can get a looping rocket
coaster then anythings possible.
I just wanted to get every thing straight
about gadv since its my home town park its the one i have the most opinion and
knowledge on about next year. I could type rumors about other parks but i dont have
as much knowledge as i do on Six Flags Great Adventure.

Huh? It doesn't
make sense that a park isn't allowed to make tunnels. PLus no one is going to
buy a B&M Vertical drop coaster. Its not only because its a one-trick-pony, its
also the extreme cost of it.....
The whole coaster itself doesn't cost
that much (around $10 million I think) but the enormous cost of the cars is what
kills it. Each car is around $100,000. And Alton Towers is running with 8 cars,
and prob two more in storage, so 10 cars equals around $10 million extra dollars
for the whole coaster. Its just too much....
A Woodie is prob not going to
happen, SF knows that most people want steelies(General Public, not coaster entusits)
and wooden coasters cost a lot, plus tons of matience (sp?). In fact, because the
mechanics have to walk the track every morning @ SFSTL on both the Boss and
Screamin' Eagle the Old Chicago and Brittaina section have to open around
11AM, not at the 10AM opening time......
So I would say an S&S
Power vertical launch ride is the best possiblity, also considering that SF has already
done business with S&S Power (STOP @ SFT).....

table is too high so the are unable to build underground or ditches. Your right about
the whole expence thing about the b&m vertical drop coaster, i am not sure
where that rumor started our why but it is a rumor.

SFWOA has a ceiling in the one county they are in. They are trying to get a higher
height restriction in the other county though. Busch Gardens is happy with Kraken,
and atmosphere? What about Alpengeist?
