Don't worry, usually about only three people each year die in the US. last year a victim was obese and didn't fit in the seat and the restraint bar didn't click. Another was a soldier without any legs on a lap bar roller coaster.

This seems like cedar point may need to refurbish/remake/redesign some of their older flat thrill rides, and maybe even coasters. I hope this won't happen again, or to rides VERY similar to it. I love to ride Screamin' Swing at Knott's Berry Farm and that ride is almost the same thing, just narrower. I hope they get better soon.

^^ It was a cable snap. It's not like a seat fell off of Windseeker. Nothing needs to be done.

Much rather the cable snap on Skyhawk than on Dragster.
