Jorris en de Draak would be so great to see built by you Jochem... If only you could see those drops.

I love the loop structure Max. It looks gorgeous. I love your builds that utilize some sort of structure that you come up with to make it look like the real thing.

Catwalk porn? I think yes.

Okay all jokes aside now, is that loop really part of the ride? Or is max just being a butt :/

This looks amazing, I'm pretty sure these teasers are destroying all of our insides. Can you post anymore?

Yep, he is. ;) Although... have you seen that block of wood in his picture?

i sware the coasters name is contained in the poems

More or less...

There's three more pictures that show you the current state of the FULL ride. You should have enough clues to guess the ride now!

Wow, this is looking exactly like the real coaster so far. The catwalks are on point, and as usual, I'm jealous of how many pieces you have.

Now that you've shown the layout of the coaster, I feel very stupid for taking so long what coaster this is: Pegasus at Efteling.

The signature you have requested is not available at the moment. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Seeing as Max posted a picture of a loop, i have a suspicion this will be another park.

Hopefully with other recreations, all the same park. :)

Nope, I was going to troll Gump by uploading my own current build, but after I showed him the picture we decided to troll you guys instead. The block of wood is actually part of the real ride when it was demolished. My build is pretty much done track wise but it's of such sorry quality that I don't feel like sharing it on here yet. I don't need to be critiqued on things I obviously know are wrong, it's more of a proof of concept and it's not working as I intended.

A lot has been built this weekend and it is going to be some crazy work to get it upstairs for storage. The most important thing that was done was building the track backwards up to a height of 5 blue rods. A new, never lubed, train was used to test this last section of the ride and the train crawled over the last hill, stalling right before the brake run. I have no doubt that a lubed train would hit the brakes with a decent speed. Knowing that the train would make it, I started adding more crossties to this section and then the catwalks. This takes up a tremendous amount of time, but it is worth it. I worked my way back to the turnaround that tunnels through the lift hill supports. From there I built a general track outline up to the previous turnaround, which I guesstimate to become 7 blue rods tall. Next time I will have to do a test run with a lubed train to find out what the optimal height would be. If 6.5 blue rods would be sufficient, I would prefer that, as it would give me more freedom in choosing the lift hill's height.

Here we go!

As you can see, I worked my way back to the tunnel through the lift hill supports.

Posted Image
The track leading to that turnaround contains a double-up.

Posted Image
I will be using blue tubing for this ride.

Posted Image
It is hard to notice, but the turnaround is banked ever so slightly.

Posted Image
I'm loving that look of this finished track.
