The next day we headed towards Six Flags Great Adventure together with Elijah's cousin Nick. Thanks to our Six Flags Gold Passes, Elijah and I had early access to the park. However, Nick bought a regular ticket, so he did not have early access. However, once I passed through the gate towards the park, I quickly gave my Gold Pass to Nick. He kept his finger on my photo on the pass, and a few seconds later we were in the park with the three of us. We immediately went to Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom, because we expected horrible lines of several hours during the rest of the day. After a wait of a few minutes, we were on Zumanjaro. The drop takes approximately five seconds, incredible.
During lunchtime we left the park and we ate at the KFC, which is not too far from the park. We spent the rest of the afternoon doing all the rides we wanted to do.

The second day Elijah and I went to the park for the second time. Although it was rainy, there were a lot more people in the park than on the first day. All these photos are from the second day.

Besides the annoying advertisements everywhere in the Six Flags parks, there was something else I noticed. The theming of the rides is based on superheroes like Green Lantern, Batman and Superman. It looked really stupid and cheap to me, but I guess there are some Americans who like it. ;)

The amazing view on the park from the parking lot.

Green Lantern and Superman, two great B&Ms.

Kingda Ka, the eye-catcher of the park.

El Toro, including some typical Six Flags advertisements. The ride itself is fantastic.

Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom.

Medusa would be one of the best coasters in most other parks, in Six Flags Great Adventure this coaster does not feel special at all.

Batman is an intense invert. It is a fun coaster to ride.

Nitro is an awesome B&M Mega.

2014 Trip Park Count:
9. Six Flags Great Adventure

2014 Trip Coaster Count and Opinion:

SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURE

63. Batman the Ride: An intense but really fun B&M inverted. The colour scheme of Batman fits really well to the colour scheme of Nitro, which is situated in the same area.
64. Bizarro: A cool B&M looper with the well-known lay-out. Unfortunately the fire-balls did not work when we rode it.
65. El Toro: A fantastic Intamin woodie with a massive amount of airtime on every single hill. The drop was very, very steep. Someone actually lost his wallet on one of the last hills and it flew against Nick's shoulder.
66. Green Lantern: A cool B&M Stand-Up. The ride was a bit smoother than Mantis in Cedar Point. Standing while riding a coaster is still kind of strange, but really fun every now and then.
67. Kingda Ka: The tallest coaster in the world, and it is one of the fastest coasters as well. The airhill gives nice floater airtime. If I have to make a comparison to Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point, I will have to pick Top Thrill Dragster. The strata coaster in Ohio has better theming and the trains have better restraints.
68. Nitro: The hammerhead and upward helix are fantastic. Overall, this B&M Mega offers a very enjoyable ride.
69. Superman: Ultimate Flight: My first B&M Flying ever. The feeling when riding a B&M Flying is great, but the coaster itself has a pretty straight-forward lay-out. The view is not great either, you are basically watching someone else his back all the time. The Pretzel Loop was a lot more forceful than I expected. There were really a lot of positive G-Forces, especially in the bottom of the pull-out.
