I decided to finally build a roller coaster on this site. It will be a B&M sitdown coaster, starting with a turning drop into a loop, then hopefully an immelman or dive loop. So far, I only have the lift done, so tell me how it looks!:D

Posted Image
How does the crest look?
Posted Image
I don't know what to do about this support. All it is doing is making sure the lift doesn't topple over, but it's really flimsy. should I keep it or change it?

I'll start working on the turning drop soon! Expect an update on Sunday, but if not, then next Saturday.

You could just have that support be temporary, then change it later. Crest looks just a little small. Otherwise, you're doing great.

Time for the second update! Thanks for the support! (no pun intended)
I said that an update wouldn't come until the weekend, but as you can see, I lied.
I built the turning drop but this isn't the final version. Also the supports in the last picture are temporary.
Here are some pictures of the drop-

The bump in the last picture is gone now and here is the support that will replace the flimsy one once I start testing it.

Well, that's about it. The advice motivates me and helps a lot, so please comment.

P.S. Is there a way for me to change my name on this site? I didn't realize that the one I entered in would be the one that showed up on all my posts.

Removing the bump in the second part of the drop should help a lot, I know you said you already did this, I'm just confirming that it was a good idea. The lift looks like it changes angle just a tiny bit, maybe lower the crest just a little, that should straighten it out and make the crest a little less sharp. Other than that it looks pretty good. :)

I like the coaster a lot so far, I just hope it is supported enough. Nice job!
Well, as for the name changing thing, you have to PM an administrator with a red < Name > to ask him to change it to something else. I would find a name your are comfortable with for a long time, because names on this site are not a thing you change everyday. :P

I think after supporting it more you should go on and build the next element. Maybe a loop. The shaping looks good imo.
The thing with the name happened to me too, but i kept mine because it was different to the other names. If you want to change your name, just ask an adminstrator.:)

If this is your first coaster, you're doing fantastic. I like the drop a lot; the way it turns 180 degrees then drops away. Very nice and very, very smooth shaping.

Your supporting is great, but the drop has some awkward shaping.

Here's how you can work on your drop:

Quick question before I start the loop, should I make the pull in at the bottom bigger and if so, how much?

A real update will come tomorrow or Sunday.

This reminds me of one of my coasters from early 2012 when I started building.

I would make the pull-out and pull-in larger. But it looks good for your first coaster so far. :D

Extend it at least one grey rod, and start it about a granite higher.

Thank you and I did that so now it looks more natural

Thanks, and without the bump it looks normal, not so awkward.

Thanks for the advice. I extended the bottom and it seems like it's the right size.

Now the loop is finished- I guess.
The shaping is kinda weird so I will have to fix it. The pullout doesn't actually have that big of a straight spot; I think it's just the angle.

The loop should look more tear shaped. Yours is more oval shaped. The pull ins and pull outs should be larger than the top. Look at Jumpge's loop on Oracle http://www.sscoaster...r-oracle-15733/ and Jogumpie's loop on Balrog for example: Balrog - SSCoasters Rides Database Granted they are bigger than yours would be but the general shaping should be like they are, just scaled down.
