Contest: Family Fun For Everyone
Database: Aurum - SSCoasters Rides Database
Construction: http://www.sscoaster...al-video-17202/
Descripton (Taken from Database): Aurum is my entry into the family fun section of the 2015 summer heat contest. I built this coaster to fit on top of my dresser so I can keep a coaster in my room at all times, but out of the way now that I am putting a bit of a halt to my building career. Building this coaster was quite an experience with trying to fit a good layout into such a small space, shape it well, and meet the contest requirements. The video and photos were all a bit of a test of my new GoPro Hero+LCD and I am really happy with the results, it seemed to do really well indoors, but I did have to put my big building lights closer to the coaster for more light. My favorite are those action photos (Dat second to last one tho).

Contest: Skill to Thrill
Database: Heat - SSCoasters Rides Database
Construction: http://www.sscoaster...-contest-17235/
Description: This is my first Summer Heat contest entry (a lot more challenging than I thought it would be.) Anyways, I was planning on makeing a smaller looping coaster somewhat like the Jester from Six Flags New Orleans; However, I came across many problems and ended up changing it completely. I thought I had less time than I actually did, so I ended up finishing it very quickley and it isn't anything special mainly for that reason. I also tested a few things out in this video, like the timelaps setting, switching out the trains to give the illusion that they are changing colors, adding foliage, weighting/lubricating my cars, making my own modded chaindog and a few other things. All flaws aside, I am realatively happy with the turn out. :)

Contest: A Design for the Skyline

Description: A giant, eye-catching Ferris Wheel and Roller Coaster Wheel built specifically to draw fans of all ages and excitement levels. One path leads to a normal, tame, Ferris Wheel ride, and the other leads to an exhilarating ride that goes beyond the normal Ferris Wheel. Designed to look like a giant sun, the wheel can be seen almost anywhere within the park, and from miles away. No matter if it's a cloudy or overcast day, the sun always shines in this park.

Contest: A Design for the Skyline
Database Link: Pagode - SSCoasters Rides Database
Construction Link: http://www.sscoaster...d-pagode-17248/
Description: An icon in the world of Dutch amusement parks: Pagode. The Intamin Flying Island in the Efteling opened in 1987. Now, 28 years later, Dutch Details releases a K'NEX version of Pagode. A large 6 kilograms counterweight is used to aid in the lifting of the main boom and the temple itself. The ride operates automatically, the temple going up and down, while rotating all the while. When it lands on the station platform, it is automatically leveled and centered. Two stairs lead up to the platform, one for the entrance and one for the exit, giving the station an elegant look. For easy (dis)assembly, the temple is lifted, the main boom is disconnected and the connection between station platform and lifting mechanism is disconnected and folded onto the platform.

Contest: Family Fun For Everyone
Database: Rolling Roller Coaster | A Wooden Family Coaster for Summer Heat - SSCoasters Rides Database
Construction: http://www.sscoaster...211/#post417564

Description: Rolling Roller Coaster is a wooden family coaster made for Summer Heat 2015. I wanted to give the coaster an old classic look but add some modern elements and airtime into the ride. The result: Rolling Roller Coaster. This ride has a 45 degree straight drop into a raised right hand turn that provides two moments of airtime. After the turn, the train goes into a airtime hill that turns slightly left, which leads to a raised turn that turns you left. As your nearing the end of the ride you make one last raised turn to the right into a double dip which brings you into the station. To get to the lift you make a simple 90 degree turn to the right.

Contest: A Design for the Skyline
Database: Legend - Giant Hubless Wheel - SSCoasters Rides Database
Construction Link: http://www.sscoaster...274/#post419413

Description:
A collaborative project between Muzz135 and CW5X, Legend is a giant hubless wheel that stands over 12 feet tall and took just over a month to construct, primarily for the 2015 Summer Heat contest. The ride initially had a few stability issues due to its size that were solved with the construction of a large frame that maintained its hubless appeal. The theming is based around the Loch Ness Monster to give the wheel a certain unique style. We also believe that this wheel is the largest of its kind.

Contest: Use Your Skill To Thrill

Database: HOT - For Lack Of A Name| A B&M Looper For Summer Heat

Construction: Summer Heat Contest - B&M On Drugs

Description: I built this coaster for the Summer Heat Use your Skill to Thrill contest. It is inspired from Absolute Zero, a coaster built by The Cobra Roller, Green Lanturn, and Hydra: The Revenge. It took me about 2 and 1/2 months to build and there were many challenges along the way, many elements I rebuilt a few times, and I ran out of pieces about halfway through, and near the end, which is why there aren't as many supports there, and the station has paper on it. This is my best coaster I've built yet and I had tons of fun with it! It's been such a journey building it and I learned so much from it.
