So my next project is a four way mini sized roller coaster park. There will be four small coasters all on one piece of land. All the coasters will stand about 17 inches tall and it will have a hyper, looper, flier and an inverted. Each coaster will sit on a 3 ft x 21/2 ft bases and be connected into one large base. Right now I am working on the hyper and next will be a looper. Updates as I take breaks and process photos.

Coaster 1 mini hyper....

Sounds like a great project! I'll be sure to keep an eye on it. Even though it's probably not final, I would add a bit more banking to the turns.

(1)- Voyage (2)- X2 (3)- Steel Vengeance (4)- Twisted Colossus (5)- Storm Chaser [6]- Fury 325 (7)- Outlaw Run (8)- Maverick (9)- Magnum XL-200 (10)- Monster

Coaster Count: 174

Park Count: 25

The base piece in the bottom of the drop is not able to be put at an angle so there is no banking. With putting the drop as low as I can and using that particular piece its just flat...

Anyway.. Coaster 1 is done and working on number 2...

Here is the mini hyper...

I'm somewhat concerned that the hyper's restraints all open right before the drop...is that supposed to happen?

Thats the way they are. The photo is shot as a set up so the train is not  moving and they fold forward.

On the sitdown version. They made a kit that the restraints open when they come into the station and close when they leave.

You can see at end of video how they open   http://www.johnnyups.../videos/lc2.wmv

On all the trains the restraints open and close and can be removed. Its just they way they made them. However the hypers are the ones that open the most freely. The other trains they dont lock but fit in a way that they dont open as easily.

Coaster number 3

This one is a flying coaster with a custom designed train. The lift is about 17 inches as the others are and will have a small pretzel and a flat spin with about 22 feet of track.

The pretzel is about as small as I can go and still keep a shape and make the train run through it.

Over all moving along.

Here is Coaster 3

I really like the concept, although I think it would be cooler if the coasters somehow interacted with each other.

1- Time Traveler 2- Magnum XL-200 3- The Voyage 4- Velocicoaster 5-Iron Gwazi 6- Phantom's Revenge 7- The Beast 8- The Legend 9- Tiested Timbers 10- Steel Vengeance

So my little project has been completed. Fun way to spend a few days building some mini coasters. After waiting for 9 years I finally have 4 different colors of supports and 4 different colors of track. Have always wanted to do 4 coasters together but didnt want same colors in the coasters.

Anyway here is the finished mini coaster park.
