On Sunday at 2 PM my friend David picked me up and we departed Jupiter and headed to Tampa. 3 and a half hours later we arrived at our hotel just outside of Busch Gardens. Here is the view:
You can faintly see Gwazi through the trees.
We settled in and went to dinner at the Mcdonalds down the road.
After this we relaxed at the hotel and watched Finding Nemo.
_____
In the morning we woke up at 8, since the park opened at 10, and went down for the rather lackluster continental breakfast. I had an undercooked waffle and some ice water.
We arrived at the parking booths at 9:10 only to be surprised they weren't open yet. They opened at 9:30, we parked, took the tram to the front entrance and then entered the park.
At 9:58 they lowered the ropes and it was a mad dash to Cobra's Curse. We ran all the way there and were the 4th and 5th people in line. The ride was broken down at the moment, but we waited regardless. 20 minutes later and the ride opened, we waited the extra 2 mniutes for front row and on we went.
It is stunning, the theming is awesome and the ride is great.
After this we went to Montu and then we made our way around the park the rest of the day.
Our coaster count for the day:
Montu - 7
Cheetah Hunt- 1
Cobra's Curse - 1
Kumba - 2
Sand Serpent - 2
Sheikra - 1
Bumper Cars - 1
The lines didn't let us get on everything we wanted, but it was still an awesome day. We left the park at 7 PM, at closing, and made our way to Orlando.
We arrived in Orlando about an hour later and ate dinner at the nearest Steak and Shake.
_____
The park opened at 9, so we woke up at 7, and headed down for breakfast. The breakfast here was much better, as the hotel was nicer.
We arrived at the parking booth at 8:10 and to our surprise it was open. We gladly went in, parked, and headed to the ticket window. Again, to our surprise, they let us into the park at about 8:20. We thought for sure there would be ropes like they had at Busch Gardens, so we kept walking toward Mako, until we heard people screaming on Manta...
We then realized the park was open. We got in the Mako queue, and went all the way to the station with no wait. we decided to wait the extra 2 min for front row...
The ride is seriously amazing. There is so much airtime on every single hill, even with the trim on full blast. I was reluctant at first, but it is amazing.
We did ride after ride while we could, knowing lines would get longer at 9 when the park opened, but they kinda just didn't... We got 10 straight rides before deciding to go to Kraken, then Manta.
We got back to Mako at about 11:30 and there was still no line! We rode again 8 consecutive rides, then took a break. Then another 8.
In total we got 26 rides on Mako, and it's my favourite coaster now, my new number one. Even on ride 26 it still wasn't old.
Here's our ride count for Seaworld:
Mako - 26
Kraken - 2 (got really rough, or else it would have been more)
Manta - 3
We left the park at about 7:30 and went to Wendy's to eat, here's the view from where we were sitting:
The end to a glorious day.
Thanks for reading, LOL. I hope you guys enjoyed it, I sure did.
(I actually get to ride Mako again tomorrow, but shhhh)
