It has been a long-ass time since I've posted anything. Well, those of you that follow me on Instagram will know that I scrapped my suspended coaster a couple months ago and started building a flying coaster. In fact, I'm nearly finished with it, which is kind of why I haven't posted in so long. Aside from trying to finish up school, I've been waiting until I knew that I was going to finish this one before I posted anything because I have continuously canceled the past 2-3 plus coasters, and I didn't want to do that again. This is really just a verbal update to inform everyone that I have moved on from my suspended coaster, and also to explain my absence from SSC in general; however, things are looking good for this coaster and I think I will probably have a full update soon!

Quick update: it's gonna be a little longer than I thought before I have a full update 😬

Another quick update:

I have kind of hit this "builders block" if you will, and I have just been super unmotivated lately. I really hate feeling this way when it comes to building because I think back to when I first started building and that was all I ever wanted to do. But lately, I don't even want to think about this coaster. Anyways, I hate to do it again, but I think I probably won't make a final video. I have a few shots of the complete coaster, but that's probably all I'll do because summer is practically over and I haven't even completely finished one coaster yet. I'll post a few pictures and maybe a quick video, but I think it's about time I move on. I had some plans for another slightly-more-detailed coaster, but I'm thinking I might just go for something really simple for now. Perhaps a wild mouse? I don't really know. Anyways, I apologize for sucking at finishing coasters, but I just want building to be fun again, and trying to finish something I don't want to finish isn't really enjoyable for me. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I think we've all been there. Don't beat yourself up about it.

I had about 2 years where I just couldn't finish anything I built. Then just got back into it one Summer and it all started to go much better.

I'd still like to see some footage of whatever you have built though

^Yep I've been there too. I cancelled like three coasters in a row after finishing my first coaster on this site. I had issues with speed, not having enough pieces, or things just not looking right. Just try to build something small that you like. I always found eurofighters fun to make and I've made like 4-5 of those.

Sad that I no longer have 69 internets

I don't believe there is anybody on this website who has had more canceled coasters than I had during my time  I as well had trouble with completing coasters. I would lose interest due to myself contemplating on building the next style coaster before even finishing whatever I was working on at the moment. My advice would be to finish a coaster and then post it until you are adjusted to closing the circuit to your creations!  (thumbsup)

As I promised a long time ago, here is a quick circuit test run of my flying coaster, Charger:

:o Wow! That's so hot! I like the yellow train, the pacing is good, and the detailing is exquisite! I love fast lift hills. Awesome layout, by the way.

I'm not done building yet.

Thanks! The mechanics were very unreliable, which would have made filming brutal. I decided it would be best for my sanity, at the time, to just throw in the towel.

Wow, that's a really cool layout. It's basically a flying blitzcoaster, right? I'm impressed that there's zero shaking on that coaster except for the turn after the launch. I'm glad you got around to posting this!

That's really cool. Seems to have a very twisty exciting layout. Maybe there should be more flying blitz coasters in real life.
