The end is near! (as for as the track is concerned). I've got some areas to fix up, but I'm getting close to switching to full on theming mode.

The track is complete! And after three days of testing, I've had one day where the vertical lift wouldn't work, one day where the launch wouldn't work, and another where the elevator kep acting up. But I think I've tweaked things enough now that its working very consistently.

As a long time lurker, I'd like to say thank you for continuing to be active on this website.  I come here every so often and I love seeing cool stuff being built.  Definitely impressive on the theming and utilizing so many different beginning elements (lift hill, launch, elevator).

I finished the first showroom scene, and it turned out pretty close to what I had in my head. Now we'll just have to see how the different areas will look together when they all start getting completed.

Thanks! This week has been pretty frustrating, as I did a lot of work but don't have much to show for it. I did finally get another sensor attached in a difficult spot. 

 

Unfortunately, after a month of running really well, the elevator decided it doesn't want to work. So I'm going to redesign the carriages and see if that fixes the issues.

K’nex wouldn’t pull that kind of rubbish. Clearly chosen the right building material. Anyway, I’m in love with the ridiculous detail and creativity. This is the sort of model that would be great to display. It’s almost like one of those complex ball machines but in coaster form with so many moving parts.

You're a boss at themeing. "I gotta put both feet here... and step allll the way over here." We really need to advertise how these coasters teach how to move about with green-rod precision.

Reminds me of me trying to tiptoe round my bedroom not breaking any bits just to put pieces on (or function in normal daily life ) The pacing through that little twisty section is soooooo nice though.

I have added the Senate from the prequel trilogy to the coaster! And I'd like everyone to see our new member JohnnyR24 in action! He's actually been helping me a lot with the coaster recently.

I'm back from the UK and building again. Got 4 trains running, with only a few issues left to address. Check out the video below (and go see Johnny's thread cause we've also been testing his wheel assemblies on the track)

Wow, I've never seen more than 3 trains on a track before I don't think. It's like RCT in real life. I never realized how tall this is for some reason. This looks so fvcking good from the structures alone.

^Thanks! Four trains is a huge headache, but it looks awesome when they are all going!

 

I've completed the volcano (and have now covered 90% of the main support structure). I was experimenting with the lava parts, but I think it turned out pretty cool!
