Well, it seems breaking hiatuses is a thing now, sooo... my turn!

Last coaster I tried building was also a woodie, but this one I feel far more confident about. Though it is mostly a CCI coaster, there is some inspiration from other manufacturers such as GCI and RCCA.

Ignore the unfinished wooden supports, I am working on those now. Ahhh, it feels good to be back!

Hey guys, not canceling just wanted to let you know that I finished the layout and it completely failed, so I’m rebuilding it and I’ll get some pics real soon. Any advice for speed?

Sorry for the DP, but here is what I have so far! Ignore the sharp spot on the bottom of the drop, I’m working on it as we speak.

No thoughts? Oh well...
I have an update anyway!

I built a cool high-speed turn thing!
And it retains speed! I am elated about this right now 😀
Please be harsh on me!!!

Do I build too fast? I don't know haha :P
Anyways, I have yet another update for you guys!

So, that high-speed turn is gone, it did kill speed I just didn't know it yet.

I replaced it with a lower-speed, higher-elevation turn similar to those found on Boss and (old) Medusa

Anyways, here are some pictures!

I know people have things to do, but it takes 60 seconds to tell me what to fix.
Anyways, I have big news: the layout itself is done!!!! I am so happy about this!
All that is really left is building the station, painting the cars (maybe), and adding some wide supports where pieces allow.
Should I have a 3 car train or a 4 car train?

So basically what I did was make the coaster turn a little more, leading into a double down, a final helix, then the brakes!

The track looks fine. I personally would've made the pullouts wider, and the final turn wider. Just add some more supports on that last section of track and a few more track to support connections throughout, and it should be fine. Also, you need a station of some sort. :)

Woo! Small yet elegant. Great work. The catwalks? really make this stand out to me. Can't not comment about that station roof. ;)
