I'm looking to buy a few servo motors for some station automation, does anybody have any good recommendations?
There's a few cheap ones on amazon but I want to make sure that they have enough torque to move stuff.

MG996/MG996R should do the trick, you could go for the SG90 which is a small servo. Depends on how smooth the gates open and close. MG996/MG996R should be a safe pick. Attach is directly to the shaft of the servo the get the most torque.
