Back in the first months of 2022 I decided to do some K'NEX construction again. I got rid of my projects that were stuck in limbo (Godzilla and SheiKra) and started working on a special kind of Ferris wheel, which I called PentaWheel.
After I finished it rather quickly (a matter of weeks) I had it standing but not operating for a long while. Today is the day that I share the pictures with you here on SSCoasters and then start deconstructing the whole thing. It did not operate very well. The ride was not very smooth and the chain tended to de-rail every once in a while. Those were things I did not care to improve upon after a long time of just having it stand there.
Did the gondolas travel on the outside of the bigger wheels and the inside of the smaller wheels? Also, did you ever have plans for the entire structure to rotate as well? That would present an opportunity to have one second of death metal play whenever the pentawheel was upside-down.
