I am building a browser based app to practise my programming skills.
This app is inspired by Force Vector Design ++ (FVD++).
FVD++ is software that you can use to parametrically design rollercoasters for Nolimits 2.
The basic principle is that you tell FVD++ what the normal force, lateral force, and banking of the rollercoaster should be at each point in time.
Using physics, it generates a track that meets those conditions.
This results in professional grade, smooth rollercoaster designs.
My app works in the same way.
The blue line in the graph represents the normal force.
The red line represents the roll (banking).
I have not implemented lateral forces yet. They are assumed to always be zero for now.
