[Pleasureland Fan]

So, what is the funniest thing you have ever heard

about a ride or park in a queue line?

The other day I was in the queue for

a Vekoma SLC (Standard Layout) at Pleasureland, the local theme park. It has been

running for 6 years now, it's called Traumatizer and it was having some

technical problems- the train was stuck in the brake run for about 5 minutes, and the

line was silent, waiting for it to finally start running again, when a voice in front of me

and my brother piped up- 'Do you think it runs on petrol'?



So,

what's your funniest thing you ever heard in a queue line?

There was some people talken how some girl died on

TTD chewing gum. Gosh, if only the were smart to know that no one has died on

TTD. It was Raging Bull,lol.

say wheres the gas pedal on test track,

Ive heard this many times in Nitro's queue.

"Yea This ride is awesome, especially the 90 degree

drop!"


And I laughed when I heard this one.

"Viper is closed...Yeah theyre probably maiking not so rough"

"Yea! GASM does like a million "Loop de loops""

The funniest one had to be when i was in line for the

Great Bear. the person in front of me asked his friend" why are those nets

there?"... the friend says, "so no one falls out."



Then, the

person in front of me says, "Oh, well that'd be a cool thing to do.

Let's put our hands up!"

it is long dead now).

My personal fav is this:
(While in line for TTD)


"Do they put that smoke there?" (Refering to the fake fog before

TTD launches)
"No, the wheels spin so fast it makes smoke."

Another one is while in line for Speed,
(Some random guy says to me:)

"Do you know how fast this goes?"
Me:"Yeah. It launches at

40mph then launches to 70 after the loop."
Random guy:"No. It goes

70 right away, I've been on it before."

waiting in the Apollo's Chariot line: "Yeah, it's the tallest coaster in

the world, other than some one in Japan. Going 150 mph was crazy."

i went to knotts today and

when inline for perilous(SP) plunge a old woman askes the ride-op do you get wet?

and the op just

laughed....not really that funny tho......went on riptide(very painfull) and a littel kid

asked his dad to tell the "worker man" to make the ride not go

upsidedown...thats all...

"I hope this isn't like Superman where they let a

train go every 10 minutes." (This was after they were having some mechanical

problems with the ride, so it took like 15 minutes for them to fix it.)

Ride Op talking about S:ROS: "Its

still like the 4th tallest in the world..."

I was in line for X and some old idiot felt that every

available seat should be taken. He wanted me and my friend (jmrtc89) to split up. We

fought and I ended up riding with him. He started telling me that I should respect him

and while going down the drop I cussed at him. At the top of the ravens turn his cell

phone fell out but it kind of floated in front of us. I could have grabbed it but instead I

watched it fall to the ground as I laughed my @$$ off. The coaster was

on my side in this fight.

LOL, some of these stories are really funny, and I have

had a good response. Keep 'em coming....

I don't really have a story but I think it is funny

when people at Cedar Point say "which coaster is Magnum Force?"
I also think it is funny how everytime I get in Maggie's line, some stupid people

try to walk in the freeway line without stamps.
