is larger and has to be since their vehicle's are much larger than Vekoma.
Plus, a little roughness can cause guests to complain. Unhappy guests=unhappy
park managers. Unhappy park managers=no more customers for that coaster
manufacturer.

Correct! B&M must also carry the weight of the larger vehicles, plus roller coaster cost doesn't all involve just the track. Advertising, theming, supports, trains, etc... can also be in some roller coaster costs. Costs can be very deceiving sometimes. Also, why do companies choose steel supports for wood coasters, when for the most part wood is cheaper than steel? Not everything is about cost, especially when you own $500+ million dollars. Its about guest satisfaction to most amusement/theme park companies. Other companies, for example SF, most car dealers, will cut something just to cut a little cost, even if it does mean guest satisfaction will go down. Why do you think SF is in serious debt?

well at my home park pcw, there is a typical vekoma slc coaster which can be very rough, and everybody seems to love it for some odd reason.

Island, I rode a roller coaster called, "King Cobra" or something like that,
and it was a stand-up coaster but it was so painful. My head kept hitting the restraints
and by the time I got off of it, I had a headache and so did my cousin. I just went to
their site and didn't see that ride, hmm? Also, I thought Son of Beast was really
bumpy. It's a good ride, but again I had a headache by the time I got off. I
remember pulling in the station and I guess I had some weird expression on my face,
because the people who were waiting, I hear them go,"Oh, I don't think
she liked it." I also think Blue Streak, at Cedar Point, is extremly bumpy.

I wouldn't make fun of KK-it was the first stand up in the
US.
The most painful ride has also got to be-Thunderhawk at DP-it is really airy,
but they really have tight lapbars, the second hill bangs the ntus so badly cuz you fly
up. Then they have moldy looking headchoppers that throw you around............
