I know a few people are attempting this model at the

moment so I decided to join in. One of my main reasons for building it was for the

revolutionay inverted lift hill which i am using on this model. I plan to have it finished

within a few weeks (school and work permitting) and will have pictures hopefully.

This is my first ever flying model so lets hope that it is a good one.

the square supports work way better.

I

forgot to mention earlier that I will have custom cars. I won't be able to make a

working transfer track because of space and moving parts. I almost have the station

platform finished.

I would likt to see the custom cars and how they

compare to my custom flyer cars! I can't wait to see your new inverted

lift. I have never attempted an inverted lift so I don't know much about them. I

don't see why people like to make transfer tracks. I try to avoid cutting my

track unless absolutely necessary.

i am going to make the transfer track out of track i

have already cut.

i have finished the station platform and it looks just like

the real thing... it is definately the nicest station platform i have ever built. I currently

have the station platform, right hand turn and lift hill completed... my next task is the

banked drop.

sad news... i do not have enough room to fit the transfer

track on the model... the room i am building it in is simply not big enough for the

coaster and the furniture. other than that im still on task

i plan on having

the drop completed tonite. anything beyond that will put me ahead of schedule. as of

now i have the lift and station platform completed.

i would like to have pics but i dont have a digital

camera to post them.

i have finished the drop. it looks pretty good except it

is not rounded propery due to space restrictions for supports. the model will have the

same design as superman ultimate flight but will not be to scale. i will scale it as best

as i can after the drop because this region of the track will be in the middle of the

room!

the drop is also a lot steeper, however the model looks

surprisingly to scale which is odd...

i have decided to

"remodel" the banked drop to make it look more real... mabye than i will

be satisfied with it.

Sounds great. I find it hard to make a drop for an

inverted coaster with k'nex. Well, good luck. Great ride...(in real life

^_^) Can't wait to see

pics!

the drop actually looks rather realistic. it is the same

slope and curve the whole way down... it is priceless

Do it in sections is my best guess, do little by little to

ge the basic shape.
