see
those brake fins?
well when the train launches those fins go under the
track. But as soon as the train passes that section of fins the break fins pop up. SO if
the train dosnt make it to the top and has a rollback, those fins will stop the train safely
to a almost stop, where it will (literally) inch back to the launch pad and re launch.
You must be asking, wouldnt another train be there already???
No, as seen in this pix-
there is that green sensor that you will see on just
about every coaster, that is telling that the train made it over the top and it is ok to
bring up the next train into the launch position.
hope that helps

rider's jurisdiction if they want their hands up. Like someone already stated, CP
puts that sign there so they can't get a lawsuit filed against them (or sued) if
someone gets injured.
However, CP couldn't get sued for the
incident where the launch mechanism broke and the riders got pelted with bits of
metal.

OMW! It was hot oil!! 3 riders were sent to CP aid were they were treated and released for an injury less than a bee sting! 1 rider was sent to the hospital and was REJECTED for injury to minor.
Jeeze the media these days....

Actually, the injured Dragster riders got hit with small bits of metal from the launch cable. That is why they had to shut the coaster down for so long. They had to instal a new cable ans do lots of inspections and testing to make sure the cable doesn't get ripped up again.

NO WAY! Installing a new cable after a cable break! I never would have guessed! It is just mind blowing!
The spokes person for CP said they were hit with oil....
