Of course Hydra will do well. You guys forced me to

tell my story again. I was waiting for Wicked Twister and it broke. Then my dad and I

were found talking to a ride attendant. We were talking about rides and he said that

Cedar Point was going to get an inverted flying coaster(That is exactly how he said it).

I said Ooooo and my dad said where will you put it? The worker said they will put it

in.

Proof that a flyer will be next. Also they maybe doing a

Impulse/project03 again. For those who don't know there were rumors that there

would be a record breaker then an impulse. Everyone was fooled.

[b]You guys are sooooooo

crazy. Them dippin' dots guy told me that CP was building a seven

hundred foot tall flyer. ;) lol

I put my

money on a floorless as well. DP's too far away for someone from Ohio

to go ride. I think if Hydra does well for DP, then CP will look into building

one.

Like I just said, Geauga Lake which is less than an hour away has

Dominator which is one of the best floorless coasters. Cedar Fair does not want to

have both parks competing against each other so they would no put in a floorless.

Ok Rollerdude, I don't believe that for a

second. I mean, I believe that the guy would say that to you, but I don't believe

him at all. West, you're right. I'd say next year they'll put more flat

rides in to save lots of money for a 500 footer. Just my guess. *Shrug*

That would be too

stereotypical. After someone else breaks the record, they always go up one hundred

feet. My bet is if they make a record breaker, it will be six hundred feet, which would

short change any plans in two years for 500.

Errr. . . host it on photobucket or some image hosting

website, then go to your signature editor thingy and add it on. . . it's not that

hard.

Or am I totally wrong? That's how I remember doing it.

Stop being retarded, seriously. Why would you post that in

this topic? Try the Questions forum or Signatures.

rollerdude, they are not

going to get another impulse. Adam, why would they get more flat rides next year

when they are already getting one this year? They wouldn't do that two years in

a row. They will get a coaster next year and then something big in 07. Dak, they are

not going to jump to 600.

The guy doesnt know

anything, hes just responding on a rumor he heard, it could be true, but i wouldnt use

that as a fact.

I think next year will strongley tell us what the future holds.

If they do not get a coaster for '06, then its odvious they are saving up for

something BIG for not getting a coaster for 3 years. CP is very patient, they will take

there time and not throw in any old coaster every year. I think a record breaker is

extremely possible, id also love to see a floorless, a flying would dissapoint me, but cp

might make it interesting.

If it is indeed a record breaker for 07, we

should see construction start a little more than a year from now, so questions should be

answerd soon enough.

If cp has taught anything to us, it is they know what

there doing and every move they make is in the best interest in the guest...

Westside7th I never said that CP was getting another

impulse. I said that this could be like the curveball CP threw in 02. Millieman310 a ride

attendant told me that. I think that he should know. I think a floorless would be great

as well as a flyer. The flyer because it would be by B&M. Guests would get a

different taste after the flying dutchman at GL.

^yeah, but he seemed to sound so uninformed when

he said "an inverted flying coaster" He is probably just relaying the rumor

that he heard, and putting his semi-GP twist on it.

crazy

Trust me, ride ops just report rumors that they hear.

We never get info directly from the source..... Well I did, but thats cause I was doing

an internship with one of the engineers at the park..... But only things we heard about

as far as coasters through the ride op grapevine was rumors that you would read

online and stuff....

Hands down. Cedar Point will not receive a roller

coaster in 2006. 2007, record breaker. A coaster of the likes which we have never

even seen.

I don't even know what it is yet.

How do you know that they will get a record breaker but not know

what it is? Cedar Point is getting a coaster next year whether it be a Beemer or

kiddie coaster. They aren't going to go 3 years without a new coaster; not with

PKI stepping up to the plate with Italian Job.

No way. In 06 they will get a flyer. In 08 they will get

a small, short floorless or a flatride(If the flatride comes then the floorless will be in

09). In 2k10 or 2k11(depending if they get a flatride) they will build a 648 foot tall

coaster back out in Lake Erie.

OFFTOPIC- This is the topic of bad cliches this

:( Stepping up to the

PLATE?! Try crease <_<

TOPIC- Alton

Towers and many other major British parks go up to 6 years without a major ride and

STILL get a lot of income and reel in the guests. Cedar Point is already well known

enough to run under its own 'steam' for a while before a new coaster.

For once-mark my words.

2006-Cedar

Point-Nothing(maybe some kiddie flat rides)
2007-Cedar Point-New type of

coaster(or something totally different on an old coaster)-breaks the five hundred foot

plateau.

A bit off topic but CP is threatening to sue Sandusky

because of the tax changes. I wonder if this will effect MaXair or the park?
