Well, i decided to make a tutorial for the

breakthrough i made a while back. First you'll need a booster and a hacksaw

such as this. V

Take the hacksaw and align

it at the edge of the hole where the top of the booster is screwed into the bottom. Cut

through until the wedge is completely removed so that it looks like this. V

In this pic you can also see how you put

the track on the booster so the train goes through. You can also see how the track

connects in this picture. V

Achully, acording to the original person who did this, this

is NOT the correct way to do it.

SFF56, it would've been nice if you'd say the

correct way of doing it rather then "Blah-de-blah-de-blah original person, this is

not the correct way of doing it."

But I suppose cliffhangers are

always fun.

Why cut it? You can just unscrew the orange part

on the top. I did that, And it works fine.

I like what ryan says better...why cut it, and maybe

accidently destroy it, when you can just easily unscrew it...

I haven't tried that yet. Are the rotating wheels

able to pop out if the top parts are screwed off? I hope they aren't...

no. I modified all of my boosters and the wheel

hasnt been messed up at all. And cutting through the orange part will leave no scratch

on the black wheels if you're careful.

I can see one screw on top of the orange part... But if

I unscrew that one, the thing is still stuck. Is there another screw (under the

sticker?)

EDIT: I've modified them already ^_^ I've cut the side

parts and now it works perfectly.

I was saying it wasn't righyt, because when the

track goes through the booster, it has a bump in the track, that will make it have a loss

of speed. And supposivly, there isn't sapose to be track going through it at

all...Look here...

If this way you posted

works better, than use that. I'm not saying to change it now cause your wrong.

I'm just stating my opinion..

actually since the bump is so small and the car is

accelerating while going DOWN the bump and being launched with the power of the

booster this could(barely, but it could) add MORE speed to the train. It would barely

be noticeable but i've never really tried that way.

And SFF56, if you

have the tubing straight the car barely launches, well thats how it worked for me when

i figured out how to put the track on the boosters....

If you don't put any X-connectors in the boosters,

but you do put flexi-rods, the tubing will be straight. That's what happens

here.

BTW, is it just me or do the boosters make an awful sound, such as

the sound of a drilling machine?

It is always making the drilling machine sound... I

can't even talk to other people without screaming.
I'm using

K'NEX adaptors, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Like a whining motor sound? They are meant to do that

I think, both of mine do at full whack. It is annoying, that's why I tend not to use

boosters any more but instead lube up my cars real good.

boosters are always really loud...the rotors are

spinning really fast and the motor inside would have to work pretty hard....but yeah

they are meant to make that loud noise

Someone said to unscrew the top of it off. How do

you do that. I only see one screw, and when I unscrew it, it still doesn't come

off. Thanx for your help.

Take out the little screw on top of the disk part and

cut along there.
