Make your boosters better!

breakthrough i made a while back. First you'll need a booster and a hacksaw
such as this. V

Take the hacksaw and align
it at the edge of the hole where the top of the booster is screwed into the bottom. Cut
through until the wedge is completely removed so that it looks like this. V
In this pic you can also see how you put
the track on the booster so the train goes through. You can also see how the track
connects in this picture. V
If you have any questions just post them
or feel free to PM me

correct way of doing it rather then "Blah-de-blah-de-blah original person, this is
not the correct way of doing it."
But I suppose cliffhangers are
always fun.

hasnt been messed up at all. And cutting through the orange part will leave no scratch
on the black wheels if you're careful.

I unscrew that one, the thing is still stuck. Is there another screw (under the
sticker?)
EDIT: I've modified them already I've cut the side
parts and now it works perfectly.

track goes through the booster, it has a bump in the track, that will make it have a loss
of speed. And supposivly, there isn't sapose to be track going through it at
all...Look here...

If this way you posted
works better, than use that. I'm not saying to change it now cause your wrong.
I'm just stating my opinion..

accelerating while going DOWN the bump and being launched with the power of the
booster this could(barely, but it could) add MORE speed to the train. It would barely
be noticeable but i've never really tried that way.
And SFF56, if you
have the tubing straight the car barely launches, well thats how it worked for me when
i figured out how to put the track on the boosters....

but you do put flexi-rods, the tubing will be straight. That's what happens
here.
BTW, is it just me or do the boosters make an awful sound, such as
the sound of a drilling machine?

can't even talk to other people without screaming.
I'm using
K'NEX adaptors, so that shouldn't be the problem.

I think, both of mine do at full whack. It is annoying, that's why I tend not to use
boosters any more but instead lube up my cars real good.

you do that. I only see one screw, and when I unscrew it, it still doesn't come
off. Thanx for your help.
